Don't Pin Me Down
"What's my photographic style?" an editor asked for an article in the July 2010 issue of Color magazine. Since the portfolio being published is from my Water Dreams series, the obvious answer is that I am an abstractionist. Look at My Spring Garden and you would have this idea confirmed. But look at Route 66 Roadtrip and you see something entirely different. Some attribute this broad range of styles and subjects to an immature development of my artistic voice. I like to think of it as being innovative and curious.
